Installing layouts for myspace profile 2.0

Using a layout on Profile 2.0 for myspace, Installing free layouts for myspace profile 2.0

READ BEFORE FOLLOWING THIS TUTORIAL:
NOTE: Once you switch to 2.0 you cannot go back to 1.0. Before you begin to install a layout with profile 2.0 make sure you open a text editor like notepad and paste anything in your about me section, interests, etc. as switching over to 2.0 may mess up a few things so you want to make sure to have backup.

Alright are you ready to make the switch? If you've already switched over to 2.0, you may already be familiar with the controls.
Click here to Upgrade to Profile 2.0

IF YOU ALREADY HAVE 2.0 INSTALLED FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS BELOW:
So begin by logging into your profile and on the homepage under the Naviagtion bar options hover over Profile. Scroll down and click "Themes & Layouts".

So now that we're all on the same page, literally, you should be able to see a selection of themes that myspace has already provided with a preview of your myspace below. There's a menu right next to the provided themes, check the picture below as an example. Start by clicking "No Theme".

Now on that same menu that has the options to change themes, layout and css, click on {} CSS. This is where you are going to paste your layout. So you're probably thinking, "I need a layout for 2.0 first?".
Click here to browse our Profile 2.0 Myspace layouts!

Once you have found one, paste the first part of the code (there's 2 parts which are seperated) in the css section.

Now it's time to publish the layout (Before we do that if you want to see what the layout will look like click "Preview" in the top left hand corner) Now up in the top RIGHT hand corner, you'll see a few options but you want the yellow publish button.

Now we aren't done quite yet. Once you click the publish button a box will pop up saying your layout was published. You then want to click HOME on that box, which will then take you back to your homepage which everyone is familiar with.

Now that we are all on the main page we have one last thing to do! The second part of the code that was with the myspace layout you chose needs to be copied. Go to edit profile > and click "About Me" and paste the code anywhere in there and you can now repaste all your about me stuff you have in notepad etc.. and save it when you're done!

YOU'RE DONE! Woot you now have Profile 2.0 installed and are ready to start using new fresh layouts! Hope our tutorial helped you out !
