Trixinity Questions

Why is there ads on your site?
We use ads to make money from our site to help pay the bills. :]

Is everything on this site free to use?
Yes, however if you DO use something, you have to supply a credit link back to this site. Most graphics and layouts come with credit links applied already, just don't remove them.

Can I use your layout on my own site.
No you should always create your own website layout.

How do I suggest a certain layout or idea?
If you have a suggestion for the site or an idea for a layout please fill out the form here.

Who are you, who owns this site?
My Name is Nicky, I run this site on my own. I've making sites for about 8 years. If you want to know the basics about trixinity - click here.

Do you sign tagboards or message forums?
I will NEVER post on tagboards or Cboxs. If something is "claimed" to be me, let me know. We use a Cbox on our own website and my username is always Nicky. The only forum to get in contact with me is at Trixinity's forum at trixinity.net/forum.

How can I get in contact with you / add you to MySpace?
You can use the contact form here or add us to myspace by clicking here.

Layout Questions

How do I use one of your Layouts?
When you have found a layout you like, click to preview the layout. If its a myspace layout you can find the button right by the thumb. If it's a background layout in our themes section; the previews are to the left menu. Copy the code in the preview and follow the instructions for that website to install the layout.

How do I install a twitter layout?
Instructions for installing twitter layouts can be found in the live preview.

Do you make custom layouts for people?
NO. Please don't ask me to make you anything custom for your page as I don't have the time as much as I would love too.

I used a layout and it messed up my profile, what do I do?
Before you use one of our layouts, make sure you have ALL the coding from any previous layouts REMOVED. If the layout still messes up your myspace, please report it here.

I'm having issues using one of your DIV layouts, help?
Make sure you follow all of the instructions provided with the div layout, if you have to, copy the coding into Notepad and take a look to where it says you can start writing your information. You should know at the least the basics of HTML before using one. If you're still completely lost, we're happy to help, just email us by using this form.

Graphic Questions

Do you take name requests, love, etc..?
I do not take requests on a regular basis and when I do request graphics I will have an update on the main page to let you know.

How do I remove your link from your graphics?
Our graphics require that link. Please don't remove it!

Why do we have to leave your credit link on?
To stop other sites from stealing them and so that others can find my site too!

Where can we use your icons?
You can use them anywhere like MySpace, Forums, Messengers but please don't submit to another website.

How do I make my own graphics?
Search tutorials on the art program you are using to get the hang of its features. I use Adobe products.

Website Making Questions

What programs do you use?
Adobe - Photoshop CS3, Fireworks CS4, and ImageReady CS. Those are all the programs we use to design Trixinity and it's content.

How long did it take you to learn to make a website?
About 9 years so far, it isn't easy, but fun.

Where can I start to make a website?
Start by searching in google, free website host. Places like freewebs, geocities etc are good.
