Redirecting your website code

This tutorial will show you how to redirect your website to another one. For example i could redirect http://myoldsite.com to http://mynewsite.com meaning the domain of the old site will show the new site.

1. Paste the following code into the index page of your old site (remove everything else off the page, or leave a message for visitors to read):

2. Change http://your-new-site.com to the url of the site you want it to redirect to.

3. Then change #secs to the actual number of seconds you want your visitor to wait before they get redirected to your new site. I would recommend setting it to 1 second if there is no message on your old site, but if you put something like, 'Redirecting you to our new site or ... something', you want to give your visitors time to read it, so I would say between 15-30 seconds.

Hope this tutorial helped you out!
